Easter

Easter weekend was quite busy for us this year! We started our weekend by going to my parent's for lunch on Saturday. It was my mom's birthday so we had a nice lunch at her house with her family and then had an egg hunt for Marshall and Colin (my cousin's son). They loved the egg hunt! They were so cute running around looking for the eggs. The play really well together.

On Easter Sunday, Marshall got up early like he normally does and found his Easter basket from the Easter bunny. He was SO excited to look in it. He loved all of his new stuff but really liked his Handy Dandy notebook (from Blue's clues). He has also become quite attached to his new Minion (from Despicable Me). Marshall takes it everywhere and even sleeps with it. It is so cute.

Later, we went to Jared's brother's church. We had been their a couple of other times before. It is sooo big but the service was really nice and it was nice to be at church with family on Easter. After church we headed to Kevin's (Jared's brother) house. The kids played while we helped them get ready for all the guests. Later the rest of Jared's family came as well as Kevin's wife's family. Their were lots of people and lots of kids. Marshall had a blast playing! After everyone ate we had a huge egg hunt. Marshall was a pro by now and had a blast! It was such a great day!
